When I learnt how to spin, I discovered the deep relaxation that comes in connecting with the rhythm of the wheel and the fibre animals who enable me to create beautiful yarn in my own hands.  Being outdoors in the big skies inspires the same feeling of deep relaxation and peace within me.   This is why I am 'big sky textiles' - big skies lift my soul, connect me with the natural world, help me to breathe deep and calm, and give me space to think about new creative ideas.    This section of the website pays homage to just a few of my favourite big skies from my travels.  Sit back, relax and breathe with me......
